Vaastu tips: Room wise
Main door 
Main door is not just the entry for the home but also the entryway for the energies that enter your home. So make sure you position it in the right place and enter facing the right direction. Always place the door in the North or East or the North East direction.
For the wealth to flow in place a wind chime in the entrance.

Living Room
The living room is the place where a lot of energies gather both positive and negative. To balance the energies the host must be seated in the North or the East direction and the guest in the direction opposite to the host. This can be achieved by simple arranging the seating.
Always place the electronics on the South side.
If an aquarium is to be placed, the North East direction in preferred as the fished help purify the house from the negative energy.

Kitchen
Kitchens are always preferred in the South West or North West directions. North direction shouldn’t be preferred.
The stove should be placed in the South and the drinking water in the North East direction.
Always keep the kitchen away from the bedroom.

Puja Room
The North East corner is the best place for the Puja room. Other than that the East or West sides are also fine.
Keep the idols in the east/west direction.
Always place the idols few inches away from the wall for the air to move around it.
The most preferred colors in the puja room are white, yellow or light blue.
The lamp stand must be placed in the South east or the east direction.
Do not hang any art pieces of animals or plants in the Puja room.
Place the auspicious Tulsi plant in the North East direction to transform negative energy into positive vibes.

Master Bedroom
The preferred position for the master bedroom is the South West such that the head faces the South direction when you sleep.
Always keep the door open and make sure there is free and abundant flow of air and light.
Avoid the placement of mirror in front of bed. It can cause energy drain in turn leading to sickness.
Never put pictures of violence in the bedroom as it can attract negative energy.
Wardrobes should be placed in the South West or the North West direction. However load should be placed in the South or the West side.

Kids Bedroom
The kid’s bedroom should be in the west. 
Make sure they sleep with their head in the south for a sound sleep.
For better concentration place the study table on the East or North wall.
Leave a little space between the wall and the study table for the flow of energy.
Make sure there is no reflection of books in the mirror as that increases the pressure of studies.

Toilet 
Toilets should be placed in the West or the North West direction.
The door of the toilet should always remain closed.
The best side for the toilet seat in the South east or North West.
The shower or wash basin needs to be in the east, north or north-east of the bathroom.
Make sure the toilet and the puja don’t share a common wall as it leads to severe negative repercussions.
Light pastel colors work best for toilets.

General Tips
The centre of the house should always be empty for free flow of energy.
Imbalance of the fire element can cause sickness, so stabilize it by placing a candle or diya in the South East or North West direction.
Always keep the corners bright as they are powerful sources of energy.
Make sure you clear the cobwebs in your house as it hinders the financial growth.
Avoid plants like cacti inside the house as it attracts negative energy.
